In praise of interdictions
I’m splurging on prints and books by my favorite photographer. This is a hard affair. But since the light is returning, I might as well. Write with light. I divine with the cards I made in honor of Yamamoto Masao. I made these for my own pleasure when I turned 50. I called the deck Tarot Interdit. For all the secrets and prohibitions. Especially the veiled ones.
The Popess eyes herself in the spotlight, while the Fool is unawares. Meanwhile death does what it’s supposed to do: chop a head here and there as part of the program.
I’ll load my 1963 Leica camera with film tomorrow, and go out to shoot some pictures. I’ll try to find someone or something interesting to photograph in secret. I’ll also think of how Yamamoto nails the obvious, and in the process steal the hardest hearts.

Cards: Tarot Interdit has never been commercially available, but I perform readings with it. If you’re interested, give it a go. You may be surprised.
